Top notch Wine Communication in Germany, thanks to ff.k Public Relations

ff.k Public Relations as specialist for wine communication and promotion campaigns for wine associations and brands, is looking back on a busy and successful first semester 2019:

In March, our team was of course deeply involved in the 25th edition of ProWein, the largest wine fair in Europe, by supporting numerous of our clients in marketing, PR and promotion: ff.k not only designed and built the stands of the DOCa Rioja (250qm stand), Cognac Frapin and Champagne Gosset but also organized the entire advertising, press and public relations including setting up exciting specialist seminars led by high-ranking sommeliers.  Also Loire Valley Wines, Swiss Wines, Côtes du Rhone, Castilla y Leon, Rueda and Prosecco DOC and Wines of Corsica  commissioned ff.k Public Relations with 360 degree communication. At the afterworks party of the Germany Sommelier Union, Prosecco DOC pampered their VIPs with DJ and bartenders to give their key multipliers the chance to network in a relax atmosphere after hectic days at the fair.

In May, trade and gastronomy all over Germany have opened their doors to all the curious wine lovers who wanted to discover the Loire Valley Wines. In several selected districts of Berlin and beyond, wine lovers had the opportunity to explore the wine variety of the Loire valley.

In April, ff.k organized again the famous WineTour for  German Wine Institute, which took place in Munich: On one weekend, over 3.000 wine lovers had the opportunity to discover hundreds of wines from over 100 winegrowers. Edutaining WineWalks, interactive wine glasses, aroma courses and a culinary and eno-tourism show with TV-Entertainer Justin Leone, MasterSommelier Hendrik Thoma and TV hiking expert Manual Andrack. The WineTour will open doors again on 19-20. October in Essen and 16-17. November in Hamburg.

For ICEX, the Spanish Foreign Trade institute ff.k Public Relations conducts the campaign “Wines from Spain” organizing two big specialist trade fair in Hamburg and Francfurt. Retailers, merchant and distributor were invited to meet winegrowers and importers. The President of the Sommelier Union presented the best wines of the country to an exclusive circle of top sommeliers. Other guests were guided through tastings by the Spanish wine expert Yvonne Heistermann.

In co-operation with the Meininger publishing house and with the help of an independent jury, the best 100 Rioja DOCa wines were selected to be published in various B2B wine magazines and consumer mag for enotourism. Later this year, these wines will go on tour to be presented to wine professional in exclusive seminars and for 500 consumers at a special Rioja Day in Munich and Berlin.

Prosecco DOC wants to reach the young generation of urban professionals. In partnership with state-of-the-art co-working spaces in metropolitan areas, Prosecco DOC invited young professionals to “After Work Parties” to enjoy freshly sparkling wine at the end of the working day together with colleagues.
